The conditioning of the boiler feed water is precisely specified in the regulations and requires comprehensive monitoring by means of manual and/or online measurement technology.

The feed water is produced by softening and reverse osmosis/EDI with continuous measurement of the residual hardness content by the Testomat® LAB TH, integrated in the NeotecMaster® controller platform via RS232 communication. This ensures that no hardness breakthrough occurs and that feed water can be temporarily stored for further chemical treatment. The precise dosing of oxygen binder, corrosion inhibitor and pH stabilizer/alkalizer is controlled by the NeoTecMaster® via 4-20 mA outputs. The photometric online measurement of the sulfite content for oxygen binding is ensured by the Testomat® 2000 SO3 and transmitted as a 4-20 mA signal to the NeotecMaster. Conductivity measurement as an indicator of sufficiently good corrosion protection is carried out with a conductive probe integrated via Modbus or 4-20 mA, e.g. from the NeoTec Select series. Likewise, the pH measurement to ensure the required alkaline pH value is integrated into the controller level of the NeoTecMaster®.

This controller-based monitoring technology ensures data transfer via Ethernet interface to higher-level control stations. The visualization of the measured data can be implemented in the network directly at the site.

The modular NeoTecMaster® concept with its device peripherals enables measurement of up to 8 parameters and ensures feedwater quality by controlling the metering pumps as required.

The NeoTecMaster® is also suitable for integration into your existing measurement technology for monitoring boiler feedwater treatment and enables the monitoring of up to 8 parameters per plug and play.
